With the filming for Pirates of the Caribbean 4 underway in Hawaii right now, there isn’t too much information out there about the plot. Disney has given us a basic plot that you can read here:

Captain Jack Sparrow crosses paths with Angelica (Penélope Cruz), a woman from his past; they begin to develop feelings for each other, but Jack is unsure whether it is love, or if she is just a ruthless con artist who is using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the dreaded pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know who to fear more: Blackbeard or Angelica.

Ok so this isn’t an “official” spoiler but it is my $2.

What is the Fountain of Youth?

The fountain of youth will not be a drinkable liquid but instead it will be a portal/gateway to get to a place where people never never age. Get the reference yet? The Fountain of Youth is Never Never Land.

Who gets to live forever?

Why Captain Hook of course! Well who’s Captain Hook? We never learn his real name in Peter Pan, so who is it? It’s Captain Teague. See any resemblance? I’ve included Mr. Smee from the movie as well.

What about the hook?

If you think that this story isn’t plausible because Captain Teague doesn’t have a hook, then you must not be hip to Peter Pan legend. Peter Pan personally cuts of Captain Hook’s hand and feeds it to the alligator. So, Captain Hook must arrive in Never Never Land with both of his hands!
